National Day of Action Against the Bedroom Tax and Austerity

june 1st posterAll across the country, people will be protesting in their towns and cities on the 1st of June, calling for local councils, housing providers and the Government to axe the bedroom tax. As part of the day of action, Brent Housing Action invite you to a street meeting – our chance to speak out against the Government’s vicious and unjust benefit cuts.

For those affected by the bedroom tax, benefit cap and other changes, this is a chance to make your voice heard and get help and support from your community. We will be providing information and advice to anyone worried about current or threatened cuts.

  • Meet at: Wembley Central Square (by Wembley Central Tube)
  • Time: 12pm, Saturday 1st June

Bring sleeping bags, blankets and pillows – and say no to the bedroom tax!
